From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leadership

Founded in 1982 by Mr. Vimal Kedia as Manjushree Plastics (now Manjushree Technopack), the group grew into a rigid packaging leader serving over 500 global brands across Southeast Asia.

In 2021, the Kedia family launched Manjushree Spntek Pvt Ltd with a bold vision, to pioneer technical nonwoven fabric manufacturing in India.

The Bangalore-based greenfield facility went live in December 2022, housing:

India’s first Reifenhäuser Reicofil Smart Spunmelt line
Advanced A.Celli finishing systems for coating, lamination, and treatment
High-volume production for medical, hygiene, industrial, and construction fabrics

Built for Industry 4.0, the site runs on renewable energy, uses rainwater harvesting, incorporates natural daylight, and features automated warehousing and packaging, all under an ESG-first mindset.

Founding Begins

Mr. Vimal Kedia gets the National Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurship from the President of India.

IPO Milestone

Mr. Vimal Kedia founded Manjushree Plastics in 1982.

National Recognition

Mr. Surendra Kedia joined Manjushree and the brothers put up North-East India’s first flexible packaging unit in Guwahati, Assam.

Next Generation

Bangalore PET plant commences production. Manjushree goes with its IPO to the market.

Broader Expansion

Rajat Kedia joins the business to augment the Multilayer Co-Ex Barrier and Hot Fillable PET Technology in India.

Silver Jubilee

Bidadi Growth

Becomes India’s largest PET Preforms and Bottles manufacturer.

North Footprint

Commissions the Bidadi preform production plant. Becomes South East Asia’s largest PET Converter at 72000 MTPA capacity.

Historic Acquisition

Acquires the business of Varahi establishing it’s foothold in North India with 4 factories, and become the packaging leader in India.

Global PE Major, Advent Intl. acquires MTL at a record valuation to create history in the packaging industry.

The Founder of Manjushree Technopack Ltd., India's largest Rigid Plastic Packaging Company. With over 4 decades of experience, Mr. Kedia is a celebrated industrialist with extensive knowledge and experience. His awards & accolades include the National Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurship in 1996 from the President of India.

Rajat Kumar Kedia

After overseeing the Sales and Marketing for Manjushree Technopack and taking it to new heights, Mr. Rajat Kedia's keen interest in the Medical and Hygiene Textile Space led to the birth of Manjushree Spntek. He envisions the world-class quality of nonwoven textiles for the Indian Market.

Niddhi Kedia

The multifaceted Director of the group- Niddhi oversees the relationship management of key customers along with finances. Her extensive and rich experience in Broking, Investment Business, and Capital Markets enhances financial foresight and strengthens the predictions of the group.

Basant Kumar Mohata

Basant is qualified as Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, CIFRS and has 23 years of experience in the field of Mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, Investor Relation, EBITDA/Value Enhancer, Strategic Business acceleration, Portfolio Management, Taxation, Debt syndication, Accounts, and audit, of which ten years have been with Manjushree Technopack Limited (MTL).

Mr. Sameer Chitnis

For nearly 3-decades, Mr. Chitnis has been a Polymer Engineer, holding an experience of 20 long years in the Spunmelt and Nonwoven Industry catering to the needs of end-users in the Hygiene and Medical Segment. His experience enables us to deliver a high-end product.
